Artistic Handcraft -Gold-damascened steel peacock

The tail feathers spread to form a fan. The lattice work octagonal symbol of the sun in the middle of this fan is movable. An ornated sun and a cartouche with the name of the artist are shown damascened in gold on the tail of the bird: “Work of Haj-'Abbas Esfahani“. The base offers verses of Persian poetry in Nasta'liq script and gold damascened arabesques.
